Since November of 2023, BAC has cleared 6.5 tons of litter, mediated dozens of acts of vandalism, and has plans to commission 25 murals by new and emerging artists across the City of Everett by the end of 2024.

Widespread litter and vandalism has negatively affected the quality of life for residents, small business owners, and community organizations. BAC not only intends to reverse the trend, but create lasting relationships with all who call Everett home towards a cleaner, more vibrant, and more sustainable community.

Graffiti in itself is not our priority. We acknowledge the enormous talent of the graffiti community across the City of Everett and believe their work holds merit and can positively benefit communities. However, we do not condone gang graffiti and or any vandalism that personally affects active small and independently owned businesses, residential property owners, community service organizations, or schools. That is what we aim to combat; not graffiti art on other property types.

Everett would positively benefit from a diverse pool of public art serving all mediums, experience levels, and scale. BAC aims to be in a position to lead the way for new and emerging artists across Snohomish County and beyond.
